if you don't know root passwd of linux nd you want 2 login then try this.........
at the boot time press 'e' to edit the grub of linux then press 'e' again on the 2nd option of grub then at the end add '1' nd press 'enter key' now press 'b' to boot.
Now you will be in runlevel 1... type passwd command and change password...................
have fun...
you have hacked a linux pc/server...but if grub loader passwd is not set...............
